Lloyds & TSB Staff Benevolent Fund
Thanks to the Lloyds and TSB Benevolent Fund this motorised scooter has given me back my independence
Not being able to work due to ill-health the fund helped me purchase a computer to buy groceries on line and keep in touch with family
When on benefits you can't save for Christmas so it was a special treat to receive a hamper from the Benevolent Fund
The Local Authority couldn’t help provide a wet-room for many years so I was able to get help with the cost from the Benevolent Fund – what a difference it’s made to me!
Having no relatives and knowing there’s someone I can call has made so much difference.
With no savings to replace our central heating boiler in the Winter the Benevolent Fund helped us buy another.
I was so worried I would have to sell up until the Benevolent Fund suggested a stair lift. Four weeks later it was being installed!
I didn’t like asking for help but I picked up the phone and they immediately put me at ease. If only I had done it sooner.
For over ten years a volunteer of the Benevolent Fund has kept in touch and occasionally contributed towards the cost of repairs. I do look forward to their visit.
My Dad was seriously ill and lived in another part of the country. A little help from the Lloyds and TSB Benevolent Fund meant I could visit and say what I needed!
